At 10:18 on May 11, a New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) container train fully loaded with goods departed from Yingshuiqiao Freight Yard of Yinchuan Freight Center. This is the first ILSTC container train operated in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, marking a solid step for China Railway Lanzhou Group Co., Ltd. to serve the major national strategies and support the local economic and social development.
The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor connects with the Silk Road Economic Belt in the north and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in the south, and links the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It is a major rail-sea intermodal transport corridor running through the western region of China from north to south. It has an important strategic position in Chinas coordinated development of regions.
